Adoption Process
Responsible placement is just as important as responsible breeding.
At Seven Dolls, our adoption process is designed to ensure each kitten is placed in a loving, stable, and long-term home.
✦ Initial Inquiry
Browse our website and reach out with a brief introduction of your household, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for (color or pattern preference, timing, and experience with cats).
✦ Matching & Recommendation
We thoughtfully match each kitten based on temperament, lifestyle compatibility, and expectations—because the right match matters more than appearance alone.
✦ Pricing
Pricing varies based on each kitten’s overall quality, including structure, appearance, and temperament.
While all of our kittens are healthy, well-socialized, and raised in a home environment, placement fees typically fall within a general range.
Placement fees generally range from $1,800 to $3,000+, depending on the individual kitten.
This fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, genetic testing, microchipping, and spay/neuter prior to going home, so no additional medical care is required before your kitten joins your family.
For current availability and additional details, please feel free to reach out.
✦ Reservation Deposit
Once a kitten or future litter placement is confirmed, a reservation deposit is required to secure your spot.
• Deposits are non-refundable
• Placement priority follows the order deposits are received
✦ Growth, Socialization & Updates
Your kitten remains with us through critical early development.
We focus on calm family socialization and confident transitions, while providing photo and video updates along the way.
✦ Health & Going-Home Readiness
Each kitten goes home only when fully ready—never rushed.
Appropriate care, records, and preparation are completed to ensure a smooth transition.
✦ Pickup Day
Families receive health records, an adoption contract, and essential guidance.
Our kittens are raised to be people-oriented, confident, and well-adjusted to home life.
✦ Ongoing Support
Our relationship does not end at pickup.
We remain available for guidance and support as your kitten settles into their new home.
How Kittens Grow Up at SevenDolls--- Seven Dolls’ Diary 01:Before Birth
Three days before her due date, the mother cat moves into the fully prepared nursery. Everything is already in place —
the incubator, the oxygen machine, a soft birthing tent, mother-and-baby supplies, nutritious food, and all sterilized equipment ready for delivery. Everything is checked twice. Sometimes three times. During the day, we monitor through cameras. At night, we stay beside her, sleeping lightly, half-awake, listening for every small movement. When labor begins, our responsibility becomes clear and precise. We assist with the delivery. We carefully count each placenta. We disinfect every umbilical cord. We ensure each kitten’s airway is clear and breathing is steady. Each newborn is gently weighed —
their first number recorded, a tiny beginning written down in our book. After stabilization, the kitten is placed into the incubator — kept warm, supported with oxygen when needed, protected through those fragile first minutes of life.
Throughout the process, we remain beside the mother — offering quiet support and encouragement, providing energy-rich food during labor, so she can maintain her strength. Most mothers give birth naturally. Our role is not to control — but to safeguard.
To stay calm. To stay ready. To protect every new life with knowledge, precision, and care.
How Kittens Grow Up at SevenDolls--- Seven Dolls’ Diary 02: After the kittens are born
After the kittens are born, their care continues every single day. Each kitten is weighed daily, their growth carefully recorded.
We examine their tiny bodies, monitor their strength, and provide gentle daily care. The mother cat’s abdomen is cleaned with warm water, and her nipples are disinfected to ensure a safe nursing environment.Fresh dry food and wet food are replenished daily, along with homemade nutrient-rich broth to support her recovery and milk production.
Clean pads are replaced promptly. The room is cleaned and disinfected regularly.Temperature and humidity are carefully monitored, maintaining a stable, comfortable space for both mother and kittens.
But the hardest situation —every breeder’s quiet nightmare —is when the mother has little or no milk. Then the nights become different.Every two hours, around the clock, we wake to bottle-feed.
Measure.Warm.Feed.Stimulate.Record.And even with all the effort, there are no guarantees.
Some lives are too fragile. Breeding is not only about joy —it is also about endurance, uncertainty, and learning to accept that not everything is within human control.
Yet still,we try.Every two hours.
How Kittens Grow Up at SevenDolls--- Seven Dolls’ Diary 03: Growing Strong
As the kittens grow, their world slowly becomes larger. We trim their tiny nails regularly, groom their soft coats, and introduce gentle baths when they are ready.
Everyday sounds become part of their learning —the vacuum cleaner, footsteps in the hallway, doors opening and closing.Familiarity builds confidence.
We play with them daily —feather wands, soft toys, simple interactive games —encouraging curiosity, coordination, and trust.
Human touch becomes normal.Voices become comforting.Movement becomes exciting, not frightening.
They receive their vaccinations on schedule, their health carefully monitored, their personalities gently guided.Because going to a new home is not just a change of address —
it is a new life. And our goal is simple:to send each kitten home confident, healthy, socialized, and ready to love.
